The transport operations of Aberdare Urban District Council were renamed Cynon Valley Borough Transport in 1974. This Bristol RESL6L with ECW bodywork was purchased by the new entity in 1975 and received this new Halifax style colour scheme in 1987. HTG353N is seen at Cwmaman awaiting its departure to Glynhafod in June 1987.
